During the July 4 holiday week I posted a series of lists showing hundreds of Marriott and Starwood Hotels that will cost more points in August 2018 when all 6,864 Marriott, Ritz-Carlton and Starwood hotels worldwide are integrated into a single unified reward chart.
Marriott Rewards will divide all hotels into 7 hotel reward categories from 10,000 to 60,000 points.
In early 2019 there will be another change adding a category 8 hotel reward at 85,000 points. There will also be Peak and Off-Peak reward rates added for hotels.
These lists show hotels worldwide you should consider booking at their lower points reward rates in July 2018 for stays into June 2019.
