Links for January 2016 Chain Hotel Rate Discounts

Some of the best deals I see this week in hotels are room rate discounts across Europe with Accor, Club Carlson and Hilton. Kimpton, Marriott and Starwood have sales on the USA home front.

January is a tough month for promotions with Marriott Rewards in between MegaBonus offers Jan 16-31. Club Carlson has no new offer yet.

And what about Hyatt? Hyatt Gold Passport appears to be leading the way for hotel loyalty programs weaning us off bonus points promotions with no new offer in several months.

Hotel loyalty promotions are generally weak this month. A good hotel rate discount might be your best value for travels.

Hotel Discounts for January Bookings

Le Club Accorhotels member global sale to January 14: Good Deals with Accor Hotels Global Sale 30% to 50% discount rates. Book by Jan 17.

Club Carlson Asia Pacific 25% off Best Flexible Rate. Book by Jan 31 for stays through Feb 29, 2016. Participating hotels.

Hilton Winter Sale Europe, Africa, Middle East – Book by January 31, 2016.

Hyatt Hotels Special Rates page lists hotel specific discounts and added value benefit rates.

IHG Rewards Club Winter Sale Europe offers discounts to members for advance purchase. Not really a special sale. More like a pitch to become an IHG Rewards Club member to get lower rates with a small discount.

The IHG promotion page for Asia Pacific is more straightforward in showing IHG Rewards Club members get an additional 5% off.

Kimpton Hotels – Special Offers for rate discounts and added amenities like breakfast for $5.

Marriott Resorts up to 20% off for stays January 8 to March 14, 2016. Book by March 4. There are 30 Marriott resorts participating from Florida to Hawaii and all Gaylord properties on sale. Minimum 2-night stay. Promotion Code D3Q. Fine print states there will be another booking period from April 1 to May 30, 2016.

Marriott eBreaks are weekly discounts for hotels in the Americas sent each Monday to email subscribers. These are often good rates I might have not considered otherwise.

Starwood Hotels SPG Hot Escapes posted every Wednesday offer discount rates for the following six weeks.
