Hyatt offers 25% bonus points for purchases of 5,000 points or more through November 28, 2022 reducing the rate to buy points from $24.00 to $19.20 per 1,000 points. This does not match Hyatt’s best offer to buy points in 2022, but there are some hotels where buying points at this price still offers hotel rate discounts.

I see several airport hotels where a weekend night is priced at only 3,500 points. Paying $67.20 for a hotel night is a great deal.

    “Some hotels” is the key term here. I was looking at a hotel that is 25k per night or $350’ish in cash so not such a good deal.
