New Accor Hotels ALL promotion for 6,000 bonus points after three stays of 2 or more nights between Oct 11 and Dec 21, 2022. Hotel stays must be booked by November 1 with stays completed by December 21.
This deal motivated me to look over my Accor account. This would be a great deal for me, but I already made my hotel stay plans for a Europe trip with IHG hotels.
Accor points have a set value at 2,000 points = 40 EUR. You can redeem points in increments of 2,000 points as credit on your hotel bill at checkout. My rate check on the Accor website for a hotel reservation in Europe shows 2,000 points are worth $38.93 USD today. That is about 15% less value than when I earned my Accor points in late 2019.
Three years ago, in December 2019, I participated in Accor’s 3 stays for 6,000 nights with Christmas week in Amsterdam at two hotels and 2 nights in Krakow, Poland just before New Year’s Eve. I earned 7,975 points in my account.

I recall checking my account last year to see my ALL points were set to expire at the end of 2021. A Christmas week trip in 2021 to San Francisco revealed prohibitively expensive rates at the Fairmont San Francisco and there were no reasonable rates to redeem my points for a hotel stay at any of the four Northern California Accor hotels before Dec 31, 2021. Fairmont Hotels in California are rarely, if ever, under $300 per night. I stayed at InterContinental Mark Hopkins San Francisco on Nob Hill last Christmas for $100 per night using IHG points – across the street from Fairmont San Francisco. I figured I had lost ALL my points.
Easter in October – My Accor points resurrected.
To my surprise and joy, I find I still have Accor Gold elite status and 7,975 points due to an elite member pandemic extension of points to Dec 15, 2022.
Accor’s ALL program still operates basically the same way as it has for more than a decade for points. 2,000 points are worth 40 EUR credit when it comes time to pay the bill at a hotel.
After examining hotel options in places I will be in Europe next month, I redeemed 6,000 points online for $116.80 credit on a $146 per night suite at an M-Gallery hotel.
This stay using 6,000 ALL points leaves me with a $29 balance to pay at hotel checkout. And I should earn at least 74 points to push my Accor points balance over 2,000 points with a new points expiration date in December 2023.
$29 suites are the kind of Loyalty Traveler deal I enjoy.
