Hilton $5 per 1,000 points at Daily Getaways today

Hilton Honors points are the final offers of the 2019 Daily Getaways today at 10:00am Pacific/1:00pm Eastern. There are three different purchase options, all priced at $5 per 1,000 points.

30,000 points = $150 (450 sets). Members may buy up to 3 sets.

100,000 points = $500 (275 sets). Members may buy 1 set.

250,000 points = $1,250 (236 sets). Members may buy 1 set.

Hilton has sold points at this price during limited time promotional offers during the past year. Main advantage of Daily Getaways is for people who want points right now or want to purchase a large number of points.

Hilton Honors members are limited to buying 80,000 points in a calendar year through the Hilton website, which means the maximum purchase is 160,000 points when purchasing points during a 100% bonus points promotional offer. Daily Getaways is an annual limit workaround with an opportunity to buy as many as 440,000 points today, however, you may have difficulty landing on all three purchase options before they sell out.

Speaking of selling out, I gave the Daily Getaways Hyatt points offer a try yesterday starting precisely at 10am Pacific when the sale launched and gave up after 30 seconds of failing to hit a landing page to buy 24,000 points. Those sales are a joke with so few sets of points available. It has been three years since I hit one of the Hyatt packages on Daily Getaways.

Still available. Wyndham Rewards 15,000 points for $175 are the only sets of hotel loyalty points to go unsold during this year’s Daily Getaways.

My primary objective for Daily Getaways 2019 was stocking up a year’s supply of Choice Privileges points. I have already redeemed 76,000 points ($388) for over $1,000 in room nights for June 2019 travel.

Buying hotel points provides great discount value sometimes.
