Oneworld airlines and Star Alliance carriers have a major summer fare sale happening right now from Los Angeles, San Francisco and San Jose to many cities in Europe for July 2018 departures.
Paris, Munich, Frankfurt, Zurich, Copenhagen, Oslo, Stockholm are cities I see with economy ticket prices from $491 to $585.
Momondo.com searches pull up similar fares to many of these cities on Star Alliance airlines.
Airfare trends are unpredictable these days, but compared to recent years when I noticed July fare drops to Europe, this is the kind of sale for US to Europe that has only happened for a few days in the six months prior to summer.
Some cities show up directly on aa.com, while other ticket prices I found through British Airways AARP link. Anyone can join AARP for $16 to get a membership number to then book through the British Airways AARP booking website.
