There are great deals for travel to Europe from many airports with multiple airlines, including smaller regional airports like those that dot the Pacific west. This is the kind of extensive fare sale we only see three or four times per year. I base that statement on the fact I see fares to Europe priced in the $400s today from California regional airports like my hometown Monterey MRY and San Luis Obispo SBP.
London, Amsterdam, Paris, Rome and assorted cities in France, Italy, Benelux region are priced from low $300s to low $400s at airports like Denver, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle.
Ticket prices are $400s for airports where there are generally limited fare deals for Europe like Las Vegas, Phoenix, Portland and San Diego and many California regional airports, places where tickets to Europe are normally priced in the $800s and higher.
