MasterCard Priceless Experiences
IHG’s MasterCard Promotion Registration link.
IHG Rewards Club brings back a promotion they offered last winter to earn a $50, $75 or $100 gift card with two IHG brand hotel stays. One of the two stays must be at least 2 nights. Promotion period November 1, 2017 – February 1, 2018.
There are additional social media sweepstakes components to this promotion, but my interest is primarily earning the MasterCard gift card rebate.
Basic Rules
1. Complete two stays at IHG Hotels between November 1, 2017 – February 1, 2018.
2. One of the two stays must be at least 2 nights.
3. The first two eligible IHG hotel stays completed after registering for IHG MasterCard Priceless Experiences determine the amount of the MasterCard gift card earned – $50, $75 or $100.
4. Earn $100, if InterContinental is one of your two stays.
   Earn $75, if Crowne Plaza or Hotel Indigo.
   Earn $50, if your two stays are only in these brands: Holiday Inn Express, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Club Vacations, Holiday Inn Resort, Hualaxe, Staybridge Suites, or Candlewood Suites.
5. IHG Rewards Club member will earn the highest value card based on the brands for your two hotel stays. It does not matter which brand is the one stayed for 2 or more nights.
6. Only one card earned per member during promotion.
7. After earning the MasterCard gift card, stay an additional two nights and earn 4,000 IHG Rewards Club bonus points.
Last year Krakow with IHG, this year London with IHG
Last winter 2017, I completed both IHG Accelerate and MasterCard Priceless Surprises with the same two IHG brand hotel stays.
In December 2016, Kelley and I took a bus from Bratislava, Slovakia to Krakow, Poland through the snowy mountains separating these countries’ borders on Christmas Day.
We checked into the new Hotel Indigo Krakow for two nights on a $107 room rate. The hotel even tossed in breakfast for free. Bratislava had closed up for Christmas, yet Krakow still had a Christmas Market and most restaurants and pubs were open on Christmas Day.

Five weeks later I found myself back in Krakow, Poland for one night before a $17 Norwegian Airlines flight to Stockholm. I stayed the night at Holiday Inn Krakow for $103 to complete both the IHG MasterCard Priceless Surprises Dec 1, 2016 – Feb 15, 2017 promotion and one of my IHG winter 2017 Accelerate tasks.
One night at Holiday Inn Krakow earned a $75 MasterCard gift card + 23,500 points with IHG Accelerate and hotel spend points.
Holiday Inn Krakow $100 night earned 23,500 points + $75 rebate (Feb 11, 2017).
The earnings from that $103 hotel night softened the blow of that date also being the first date of the IHG PointBreaks list, when I could have booked Hotel Indigo Krakow for 5,000 points that same night. But I did not have another opportunity to complete the MasterCard promotion before Feb 15, 2017 so Holiday Inn Krakow was where I stayed.
In the end, IHG never sent me the $75 MasterCard, a mistake I realized a few months later. Since the promotion was long over, the customer service representative deposited 20,000 points in my account. Quite an acceptable resolution to me.
London Christmas 2017
I’ll be in London for Christmas 2017.
Two of the best hotel loyalty chain promotions for Christmas period hotel stays are the combinable IHG Accelerate and MasterCard Priceless Experiences offers and Marriott MegaBonus for one free reward night (up to category 5 hotel) after two stays.

Marriott hotel rates are so much higher priced for every city I plan to travel compared to other hotel deals I found. I don’t think I will earn any Marriott MegaBonus reward nights during their promotion.

IHG brand hotels have some great deals in London around Christmas with room rates as low as $85 per night at several hotels in the city and $125 for areas like Kensington and Camden.
We will be in London three nights. I plan two IHG stays to complete my two remaining IHG Accelerate tasks for 27,600 bonus points, while also earning a $50 or $75 rebate with IHG Priceless Experiences.
InterContinental Prague on New Year’s Eve at 40,000 IHG points is one of very few hotels in the city available for standard reward points on New Year’s Eve.
IHG Rewards Club PointBreaks will likely post a new hotel list next weekend for bookings beginning Monday, October 30. Depending on hotels offered, I might plan a winter solo trip to Europe to take advantage of IHG PointBreaks, where 30,000 points can put me in a hotel for 6 nights.
IHG Rewards Club is a program that keeps offering me some of the best hotel stays and value for my travels.

OFFER DETAILS: An eligible Participant who, during the Promotion Period, completes two (2) Qualified Hotel Stays and pays for each stay with a Mastercard credit or debit card, and, as defined below, one (1) of the two (2) stays must consist of a minimum two (2) night stay (“Qualified Hotel Stayâ€), will qualify to receive a Mastercard Reward Card upon completion of the second Qualified Hotel Stay.
