Immediately after posting the $349-$415 fares with Star Alliance for San Francisco to Stockholm available for August travel, SkyTeam is in the mix too with $382 fares on KLM. This is a real fare war.
SkyTeam has discount tickets for April-May in low $400s and then August-September lowest fares, but fares stay under $500 for many dates to January 2018.
Update: Oslo, Norway OSL and Gothenburg, Sweden GOT are also on sale from Bay Area airports. Oneworld low fares around $400 are available from San Jose SJC.
