This sale indirectly led me to booking a stay at one of the participating hotels. I did not use the Winter Sale rate, but after seeing relatively low rates with the winter sale, I checked Club Carlson Gold elite member 2-for-1 and 4-for-2 rates to find new availability that had not been around for a couple of months during my previous checks. I knocked another 30% off the lowest 30% Winter Sale rate for my stay, and even better, the Club Carlson 2-for-1 and 4-for-2 rates have flexible cancellation policies.
