Marriott MegaBonus Registration live today

Marriott MegaBonus registration is open today through October 31. Last week I reported the four month Marriott Rewards MegaBonus offer is stay 2 times from Sep 15, 2010  through Jan 15, 2011, pay with Visa and earn a free category 1 to 4 reward night. A maximum of two free nights may be earned during this promotion. Free nights must be redeemed by May 31, 2011.

The reports on FlyerTalk indicate most people are getting the free night offer, although at least one member indicates a points-based offer for 25,000 points after 15 nights or a total of 40,000 points after 20 nights paid with Visa.

  1. I didn’t get the offer for 2 free nights after 4… instead I got the 25,000 bonus miles. Details below. I may just sign up for another account using my birth name and business address for the 2 free nights!

Earn up to 25,000 bonus points for stays made between September 15, 2010 and January 15, 2011.

Marriott Rewards® is making it easier than ever to earn a MegaBonus® and to get closer to living your dreams.

Here’s all you have to do:

•Register by selecting the “Register” button or by calling 888-MARRIOTT by October 31, 2010.
•Stay at any of the more than 3,200 participating hotels between September 15, 2010 and
    January 15, 2011.
•Earn 5,000 bonus points every other paid stay, starting with your second stay, up to 25,000 bonus points, using your Visa® card.

  2. Interesting, I got a different offer:

Earn 35,000 bonus points after 20 paid nights, plus an additional 15,000 bonus points after 25 paid nights, up to 50,000 bonus points, using your Visa® card.

  3. There are usually several variations on the Marriott MegaBonus. I am an infrequent Marriott guest and I seem to get a low threshold free night offer every MegaBonus.

Marriott regulars are more likely to get a points based offer.

  4. @Bryan

You have to change your earnings preference from miles to points. Then you’ll be able to register for the MegaBonus Promotion per the T&C.

I switched my preference and then the Register button magically appeared.
