Marriott MegaBonus new offers coming August 19, 2010

Registration for the next recurring Marriott MegaBonus is scheduled to begin August 19. This round requires Visa card payment for your hotel stays between September 15 – January 15, 2011. MegaBonus offers are generally a variety of targeted offers specific to individual Marriott Rewards members.

FrequentFlyerBonuses.com reports the basic offer (the one I usually receive as a base Marriott Rewards member) will be one free night for every two stays paid with a Visa Card. There is a limit of two free nights earned per member. Free nights are valid only for Marriott Rewards category 1 to 4 hotels (the upper tier of hotels goes to category 8). Award nights must be redeemed by May 31, 2011.

MegaBonus Registration is required between August 19 to October 31, 2010.

The tagline for this promotion states – “Endless possibilities to earn infinite rewardsâ€

Somehow I do not equate two free nights in the lower tier hotels of Marriott Rewards as “infinite possibilities†but I do appreciate the Marriott Rewards opportunity to earn a free night with two stays.

Next Thursday I’ll be clicking back on the Marriott link to see if two free nights are truly my possibilities with this next Marriott MegaBonus promotion.

    Marriott’s website says the fall Megabonus will start September 15 (not October 15).
