Running with Miles and Frequent Miler posted a great deal today for buying cheap IHG Rewards Club points through a Points + Cash 20% discount offer for stays through May 31, 2017.

This may be a targeted offer for IHG MasterCard members, however, Running with Miles saw the offer without being a IHG Rewards Club card-carrying Platinum member. The deal here is many IHG hotels in the higher reward categories allow the purchase of up to 20,000 points on a Points + Cash reward night.

Promotion Update: The message I have seen when checking Points & Cash rates is 20% discount offer is targeted to IHG Rewards Club Platinum members, which includes IHG Rewards Club MasterCard members.
