Wyndham Rewards GoFast rewards offer hotels for 3,000 points plus a cash copay from $25 to $150 per night. Next month I will be in Amsterdam and hotel rates are significantly higher in April than during our February trip. Netherlands tulip season brings out the high rates in Amsterdam when most city center four-star hotels are over 200 EUR per night.
Amsterdam has two Wyndham brand hotels with Wyndham Apollo Hotel Amsterdam and Ramada Apollo Amsterdam Center.
There are rarely reward nights at Wyndham Apollo in the rate checks I have made the past couple months. A GoFast rate appeared for a date I wanted, but the 147.50 EUR copay is a deal killer.
Ramada Apollo looks like the real deal here. Ramada Apollo Amsterdam ranks #67 of 357 hotels in Amsterdam on TripAdvisor.com. The hotel is west of city center, but near a tram line for easy city center access.
Ramada Apollo Amsterdam has a 187.00 EUR advance purchase base room rate or 3,000 points + 52 EUR with a GoFast reward.
Even better, Wyndham Rewards GoFast Reward room choices include higher room categories than the lowest rate standard room.
The GoFast rate is the same 3,000 Wyndham Rewards points + 54.60 EUR, whether a Queen Bed Standard Room or King Bed Executive Room is selected. There is nearly a 30 EUR rate difference between these room types.

I booked Ramada Apollo Amsterdam in a King Bed Executive for 3,000 points + 54.60 EUR. 3,000 Wyndham Rewards points gives a rate discount from 223 EUR to 55 EUR.
168.53 EUR = $185 USD savings. Redemption value of 3,000 Wyndham Rewards points is $61 per 1,000 points.
I purchased about 100,000 Wyndham Rewards points through U.S. Travel Association’s Daily Getaways two years ago for $6 per 1,000 points.
Looks like I’ll get more great value from Wyndham Rewards points in Amsterdam next month.
