The top copay price for Wyndham Rewards GoFast nights has increased from $95 to $150 since I last hunted for Wyndham hotel deals using points. New York has at least five hotels with GoFast $150 copay rates. I see $150 copay amounts for certain USA hotels.

Since Wyndham Rewards is a program few bloggers write about, I have been unable to track down when rates actually changed from $95 to $150. It might simply be the case that the hotels now posting $150 GoFast copay amounts were only available for GoFree Awards earlier in 2015.
Wyndham Rewards GoFast articles on The Points Guy and One Mile at a Time both state the high end for GoFast Awards at $75. I know there were $95 copay GoFast Awards when the program launched in May 2015. Now I am finding several hotels with GoFast $150 copay amounts. This may have been introduced when Wyndham Rewards made September IT changes.

I have located Wyndham brand hotels, including some Days Inn properties with GoFast copay rates at 3,000 points + $150 per night. The highest copay amounts I saw last May when the program launched was $95.

No brainer to book an $83.30 paid room rate and earn Wyndham Rewards points instead of spending $150 + 3,000 points for New Orleans.

Days Inn San Francisco at the Beach $160 rate + 500 bonus points.
Days Inn San Francisco at the Beach is the only Wyndham Hotel property in San Francisco with a $150 GoFast copay. For a weekend stay in January the published rate is $160 per night for a 500 points bonus package stay.
GoFast Award stays do not earn points. This two-night weekend hotel stay on a Wyndham Rewards GoFast award will cost 6,000 points + $345.18 after 15.5% hotel tax is added to the GoFast copay amount.
Alternatively, paying the $160 room rate results in a total 3,700 Wyndham Rewards points earned (3,200 base points + 500 weekend stay points) for an additional $23 on the GoFast rate.

Not all Wyndham brand hotels with GoFast $150 copay amounts are a bad deal. Most of these hotels will have rates higher than $150 per night on some dates when the availability of GoFast Awards saves quite a bit of money. Remember though, GoFast Awards are capacity controlled, so they might not be available during high rate dates. GoFree Awards at 15,000 points per night are still an option.
Wyndham Grand Chicago Riverfront May 6-8 Friday-Sunday 2-night stay.
AAA rate = $260.10 per night. $605.52 after tax.
The bottom line on this screen shot states: “You could earn up to 6,056 Wyndham Rewards points on this $605.52 stay.â€
Unless Wyndham Rewards has started paying points on taxes, this is not correct. No hotel loyalty programs give points for hotel taxes paid.

Wyndham Grand Chicago Riverfront offers this same Deluxe King River room as a GoFast award at 3,000 points + $150 per night.
Book this room using the GoFast Award rate and you pay 6,000 points + $349.20 after tax on the $150 per night co-pay amount.
In this example, you save $256 by redeeming 6,000 Wyndham Rewards points. That is a redemption value of $42.66 per 1,000 Wyndham Rewards points.
Wyndham GoFast Awards have great value some of the time
The main point of this post is there are GoFast $150 copay hotels. This is a copay rate I only noticed at the end of December 2015 in recent searches. I thought $95 was the highest copay hotel award when the GoFast awards were launched in May 2015. At this high copay rate of $150 per night, many of the top hotels in Wyndham Rewards are priced out of good value with GoFast Awards much of the time.
Still, there are times when these high copay GoFast Awards are good value at these hotels.
