Hyatt 48 hour sale through Wed August 22

Hyatt is repeating its 48 hour sale for stays August 28 to December 5, 2012 at participating Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, Park Hyatt and Andaz properties in the USA, Canada and the Caribbean. Discount rate offer code C48AUG. The 48 hour sale runs Tuesday, Aug 21 and ends at 11:59pm CDT Wednesday, August 22.

Participating hotels offer up to 30% off the Hyatt Daily Rate (BAR) with these 48 hour prepaid, nonrefundable, no changes discount rates.

Generally my risk tolerance is too low to take advantage of prepaid rate discounts. This offer might work better for you.

The main problem is there is no list of participating hotels. You just need to search using the C48AUG code. That can waste a bit  of time.

Loyalty Traveler Analysis

I tried this special rate for hotels in Monterey, San Diego, San Francisco and Los Angeles and even Chicago. A dozen tries and every hotel came up with special rate offer not available.

Waste of time sale searching when Hyatt does not provide a list of participating hotels.

    @Angelina – Scottsdale seems to have loads of deals lately. That is one of my go to locations when pricing out great deals for loyalty travelers.

    @Nick – I met the GM of Hyatt Santa Barbara in April. Nice guy. This winter I plan to spend some time in Santa Barbara and really familiarize myself with the location. Certainly few deals in Santa Barbara until November when the California coast goes into off-season.
