Fare wars seem to be ratcheting up across the USA. LAX and SFO offer discount fares for travel to many airports across Greece, including islands like Santorini, Rhodes, Korfu and others priced from $535 to $611 through online travel agency sites found in Momondo.com and Skyscanner searches.
Low fares are found on dates in May and from early August. There are low fares before May, but many of the Greek island resorts do not operate in winter.
Google Flights is helpful in pinning down dates with fares in the $600 to $690 range and then a search for OTA discount tickets pulls up prices as low as $535 on Star Alliance airlines to $611 for British Airways to Santorini.
Low fare dates in May and August are fairly easy to find from LAX and SFO to airports across Greece and its islands.
Here are some sample fares. I used Google Flights to find dates priced in high $600s and then used Momondo and Skyscanner to find online travel agency sites with tickets priced $100 or more less in the $500s.
