Aer Lingus has low fares to Dublin from cities all around the USA, with some notable exceptions like SFO/LAX. I found lowest fares from Atlanta, Dallas and Houston at $560 round trip. October-December are lowest fares and Sep, Jan-Mar look to be about $30 more. These are Aer lingus ticket prices. UA prices are mostly astronomical, but I did find some low fare anomalies with United Airlines like $615 round trip for Houston – Dublin with the return flight on British Airways.
Here are sample fares:
New York JFK/Newark EWR – Dublin $496 nonstop
Washington IAD – Dublin $617 nonstop
Monterey MRY – Dublin $630 (most regional California airports lower fares than LAX/SFO)
