Delta Business Class Toronto $1,200 USD Vancouver $1,300 to Germany

Delta’s Business Class sale to Germany is available from several airports in Canada. Business class ticket prices from Toronto to Hamburg are as low as $1,202 round trip and $1,287 from Vancouver. This is about $250 to $350 less than the bargain basement business class ticket prices from hundreds of USA airports to Germany for departures from late August to March 2017. Chicago to Hamburg is $1,592 round trip and Portland, Oregon PDX to Hamburg is $1,656 round trip.

Update June 5, 6:00am PT: Fare available YVR to Paris too with Air France Business Class ticket for $1,300 round trip. This low fare was available to Amsterdam at time I wrote this original article, then gone, and now Paris shows low fares. Google Flights shows this fare has to be booked by phone with Air France. I have not been able to get the fare to load online, but I did find it on ITA Matrix.

For many USA travelers, the cost to fly to a Canada airport on a separate ticket and get an even deeper business class discount to Germany from there is less than the cost to fly from a USA airport for $1,600 business class fares to Germany. This deal is potentially a second country destination, if you want to add time in Canada on same trip as Germany.
