Star Alliance airlines has the lowest fares overall from California to Scandinavia April into June 2016 with $593 round trip for Los Angeles to Oslo, Norway. United, Air Canada, Lufthansa, Swiss and SAS all combine for low flights to Copenhagen, Oslo, Bergen, Stockholm and other Scandinavian cities. American and British Airways compete on many of these routes with fares around $20 to $60 more round trip. SkyTeam Alliance with Delta, Air France and KLM offer these same routes for close to the United Airlines ticket prices. There are plenty of travel dates in April and May with fares in low to mid-$600s round trip.
