Scottsdale, Arizona
If you don’t mind frying your body like a slab of meat on the grille under the Arizona desert sun, The Phoenician, a Luxury Collection Resort in Scottsdale is $128 per night for the week of July 20 at this category 5 hotel. The more exclusive SPG category 6 Canyon Suites at the Phoenician has $212 rates for most dates over the next six weeks.

Brussels, Belgium
Watch Belgium in World Cup Quarterfinal Matches this weekend in Belgium while staying at a low priced Sheraton or Aloft. If we can’t beat them, then join them for the weekend victory or celebrate their quarterfinal loss in their home base. If celebrating their loss in Brussels, just be prepared to take more strikes and kicks than USA goalie Tim Howard did in the Round of 16 loss to Belgium.
Sheraton Brussels Hotel is $86 to $90 this weekend. Aloft Brussels Schumann is $82 per night over the next couple weekends and drops as low as $70 per night.
