My sample rate check for SFO-SEA July 19-23 came up at $199 round trip. A quick search on Travelocity showed Delta and United at $188 and Alaska or Virgin America at $193.
My sample rate check for Tuesday Sep 23 with return Saturday Sep 27 for SFO-ORD Chicago came out to $318 all-in for a round trip which is $20 less than $169 one-way rates shown.
American Airlines came up with a low fare of $278 SFO-ORD for these same dates, but not as good a schedule.
This may be a sale rate, but the routes I checked were not a discount rate compared to other carriers flying the same route on the same dates.
