Daily Getaways Points & Miles Sales June 10-July 12

U.S. Travel Association and American Express have announced the 2013 Daily Getaways flash sales will happen beginning June 10 for five weeks through July 12 with Monday through Friday sales.

The basic idea is every day there is a travel partner with an item for sale. The value for points and miles collectors are the Daily Getaways sales have been one of the lowest cost ways to buy hotel points over the past few years.

The quantities are limited and the blogosphere hype of these deals makes it a challenge to get some of the offers. You need to be quick.

HHonors 100,000 points = $550 ($495 with AmEx) 80 available.

There were some great deals for Gaylord Resorts, Loews and Omni Hotels that rarely sell out quickly. Gaylord is now part of Marriott Rewards, so I don’t expect to see their offer this year in Daily Getaways.

Starwood has participated in past years, but not in 2012.

If the deals are like years past, then the weeks of June 10 through July 12 are a good time to try your luck at Daily Getaways for cheap travel opportunities.
