Wyndham Rewards fall offer looks lackluster compared to other offers in the more prominent upscale chains, but this promotion fares well against Best Western Rewards and Choice Privileges for hotel travelers frequenting the midscale and economy chains over the next two months.
Earn 5,500 Wyndham Rewards bonus points on your 2nd and 4th stays for a total bonus of 11,000 points after four hotel stays completed between September 26 and November 30. Note that you must check-in by November 26 and check-out by November 30 to earn bonus points with this promotion if your hotel stay occurs at the end of the promotion period.
There is a promotion limit of 11,000 bonus points with this offer.

Alternatively, you can choose to earn 1,000 bonus miles on 2nd and 4th stays, however, choosing points is the better deal since 8,000 Wyndham Rewards points exchange into 3,200 frequent flyer miles with a points-to-miles transfer through Wyndham Rewards.
Promotion registration is required, but stays completed during the promotion period will count for the bonus points as long as you register for this promotion by November 26, 2012.

Another aspect of this promotion is the opportunity for US residents to redeem 5,500 points for a Wyndham Rewards $25 prepaid gift card. The normal price is 6,500 points.
I think Wyndham Rewards points have more value than $25 for 5,500 points. There are many hotels at the 14,000 points level with Wyndham Rewards that will go for over $100 per night.
I find good savings with Wyndham Rewards points when I drive into a town and need a last minute hotel night. I have used my Wyndham Rewards points sitting in the lobby of a hotel using their hotel computer to book my hotel night on points and walked over to the counter to pick up my room key.
Wyndham at more than 7,000 hotels worldwide has more hotels than any other global hotel chain and a Wyndham brand hotel is just about anywhere in the USA.
Wyndham Rewards Promotion Terms & Conditions
You must be a Wyndham Rewards® member to participate. Members will qualify to receive 5,500 points or 1,000 miles after their 2nd and 4th qualifying stays within the Promotion Period. 5,500 points can be redeemed for a $25 Wyndham Rewards Prepaid Card until 12/31/12. After 12/31/12, a Wyndham Rewards member can redeem a $25 Wyndham Rewards Prepaid Card with 6,500 points. The 5,500 points posted to members’ accounts can be used to redeem a Wyndham Rewards $25 Prepaid Card for a limited time or anything worth 5,500 points in the Wyndham Rewards redemption catalog. This limited time Wyndham Rewards Prepaid Card offer is only available to Wyndham Rewards members who are US residents. All other Wyndham Rewards members who register for this promotion can redeem their points for anything worth 5,500 points. The 5,500 points can also be combined with members’ existing points to redeem from the Wyndham Rewards redemption catalog as applicable (applies to US residents as well). Member stays with check-out dates after 11/30/12 will not be counted towards the promotion. One stay includes all consecutive nights at the same hotel regardless of check-ins or check-outs. Members should allow six to eight weeks after completion of registration and stays for the bonus points or airline miles to be credited to their account. Super 8 in China does not participate in this promotion.
