Comfort Inn Anaheim Resort is one of five Choice Hotels in Anaheim, California – home to Disneyland. This is the highest rated of the five Anaheim Choice hotels on TripAdvisor at 4.3 of 5 and ranked #44 of 128 hotels in Anaheim. Keep in mind the Comfort Inn hotel is not a resort, just in proximity to Disneyland Resort. Nearby Cambria Suites Anaheim has an attached water park and commands higher rates.Â
Comfort Inn Anaheim Resort room rates were $203 after tax and fees or 12,000 points per night for a King Deluxe room.
We stayed at Comfort Inn Anaheim Resort during Thanksgiving week 2021 as part of a road trip to see family. Initially we were planning to visit Disneyland for two or three days, but ended up dropping that portion of the trip.
When it comes to using Choice Privileges points for reward stays at Choice Hotels an important variable to keep in mind is the price of a room night in points varies by season. Comfort Inn Anaheim Resort was only 12,000 points for a weekday night in November 2021. From May to Sep 15, 2022 this same hotel is 30,000 points per night.

The hotel is easy to access from Interstate 5, Katella Avenue exit 109. Parking is free at Comfort Inn Anaheim Resort, which is a consideration in Anaheim where overnight parking space is limited and expensive at many hotels. Most other Choice Hotels in Anaheim charge for parking.

We stayed in a top floor 5 King Deluxe room. The room was well-designed with updated furnishings, although the shower/tub was pretty basic. From our room window we would have been in a position to see Disneyland fireworks about one mile away, except there were no fireworks on the weeknight we stayed.

Pandemic protocol meant breakfast was a bag handed out to each guest on request at the front desk. There was a Jimmy Dean sausage, egg and cheese croissant and a banana nut muffin with a bottle of water.

The breakfast room was packed and I took the food back to our room. My breakfast room photos were taken at night when the room was empty.

Originally we had planned to stay three nights at this hotel for a Disneyland trip. I also had one night booked for Cambria Anaheim at 20,000 points, but our plans changed and we only stayed in Anaheim for one hotel night before driving back to Monterey.
Given room rates around $200 per night for most hotels near Disneyland during Thanksgiving week, our Comfort Inn Anaheim Resort stay for 12,000 Choice Privileges points offered good value. The posted room rate at the time I made my reward reservation was $203 after tax. My out-of-pocket cost was $62.40 at the purchase rate for nearly 400,000 Choice Privileges points I bought during the Daily Getaways sale in October 2021.Â
