Hilton 2K points per stay and 10K points every 10 nights Jan 6-May 3

Hilton Honors has a new Points Unlimited promotion for the next four months from January 6 to May 3, 2020 offering 2,000 points every stay and 10,000 points every 10 nights. Given the other Hilton Honors buy points promotion launched today for 100% bonus points, then you can value this offer as an extra $10 in points every stay and $50 in points every 10 nights.

This offer is a decent bonus for Honors members with frequent stays for business, but not a big incentive for leisure travelers. I’ll be looking for better offers from other hotel loyalty programs.

Assume $100 per night and 10 one-night stays over the promotion period spending $1,000 and you can expect 30,000 bonus points for the equivalent of a $150 rebate in additional bonus points. However, spend $100 per night with 2 five-night stays and you only earn an extra 14,000 points for the equivalent of an extra $70 rebate on your $1,000 in spend.

Of course, your return on hotel spend improves with base points, elite status bonus points and Hilton credit card bonus points.
