Choice Privileges has a mystery discount offer for points purchases from Oct 3-Nov 2, 2019 targeted to each member’s account for 20%, 25% or 30% off the regular purchase price. The difference between this sale and the last sale for buy points 30% discount last month is Choice Privileges changed its single rate to buy points from $11.00 per 1,000 points to a 3-tier pricing scheme at $12.10 per 1,000 points for 1,000 to 4,000 points, $11.00 per 1,000 points for 5,000 to 9,000, and $9.90 for 10,000 to 120,000 points.
The new $9.90 per 1,000 points price tier means 25% or 30% off is even lower than buying points through Points Plus Cash reward nights at $7.50 per 1,000 points.
Price to buy 1,000 Choice Privileges pointsÂ
1,000 – 4,000 points = $12.10 per 1,000 points.
5,000 – 9,000 points = $11.00 per 1,000 points.
10,000 – 120,000 points = $9.90 per 1,000 points.
- 20% discount = $7.92 per 1,000 points.
- 25% discount = $7.42 per 1,000 points.
- 30% discount = $6.93 per 1,000 points.
There are some great hotel rate discounts at these price points. A few reward nights I have taken advantage of for the remainder of 2019 include stays at Comfort Inn Carmel-by-the-Sea for 12,000 points per night for weekends through November 30. $90 buys a $300 room night in October.
The new Cambria Anaheim opens Thanksgiving week and $410 per night suites are available for 16,000 points you can buy for $119 at 25% off or $111 at 30% off.
