A $397 round trip ticket for Los Angeles LAX to Lima, Peru exposed me to the fact that InterJet Airlines is Mexico’s third largest airline. I was not even familiar with an airline called InterJet. In February 2016 InterJet added service between Mexico City and Los Angeles LAX, then in May 2016 added service between Mexico City and Lima, Peru. In March 2018, InterJet added flights from San Francisco SFO to Cancun CUN and Guadalajara GDL.
InterJet flies to 11 USA airports and 3 cities in Canada.
InterJet fares for LAX to Peru are  between February and June 2020.
