IHG Rewards Club has two InterContinental Hotel promotions running from September 26 to November 30, 2019. The first offer is all IHG Rewards Club members can register for a new promotion to earn 3,000 bonus points per stay at InterContinental Hotels for up to 5 stays and 15,000 bonus points.
The second offer is for new members to InterContinental Ambassador, a separate annual membership fee loyalty program primarily applicable for benefits at InterContinental Hotels, which also confers IHG Rewards Club Platinum elite status. The cost to join InterContinental Ambassador is $200. You can also join Ambassador for 40,000 IHG Rewards Club points.
While I initially assumed this promotion was only available to new members who pay $200, I see the option to pay 40,000 points when I use the promotion link to join new Ambassador membership.

- Pay $200 membership fee.
- Receive 10,000 bonus points upon enrollment in program between September 11 and November 30, 2019.
- Earn 6,000 bonus points per stay at InterContinental Hotels worldwide for up to 5 stays from Sep 26-Nov 30, 2019.
- InterContinental Hotels Stay Bonus max earning = 15,000 bonus points.
- Ambassador Enrollment Bonus max earning = 10,000 bonus points.
- New Ambassador Stay Bonus max earning = 15,000 bonus points.
