Beer segregation in SAS Lounge Oslo

As a newly minted Star Alliance Gold elite member I finally was allowed to cross the threshold into the SAS Lounge on my transit through Oslo Airport this month.

In the lounge Kelley put together a plate of food as I walked around snapping photos.

Farther down the hall is the SAS Gold Lounge. An automated boarding pass check opened gated access for me.

Notably there were bottles of beer filing one of the chill trays in the SAS Gold Lounge. That is always a nice touch. Beer in a can is a taste I can’t stand. I’m the beer equivalent of a wine snob particular preferences in taste and style.

Carlsberg Alkoholfri

Such a shame I found myself only ‘near beer’ in the SAS Gold Lounge. I headed back to the ‘arbeider’ lounge to tap into the only real Carlsberg I located in the two rooms.

Oslo SAS Lounge appears to be a segregated lounge. Bottles of wine in the SAS Gold Lounge with only tap wine in the SAS Lounge entry room. Bottles of alcohol free beer in the SAS Gold Lounge with the only real Carlsberg beer tap located in the SAS Lounge entry room.

Food appeared to be the same selections in both rooms of the Oslo SAS lounge.
