Radisson Blu Hotel Prague opens June 1, 2019 in the site that was Sheraton Prague Charles Square. The hotel is category 6 at 50,000 points per night.

Lowest rates I see are around 3,700 CZK ($163) per night. Although I never stayed at Sheraton Prague, I walked by the location several times. I generally think this is a good part of town to be located with many of the New Town-Nove Mesto restaurants and pubs I like to eat and drink within ten minutes walk.

Karlovo Namesti (Charles Square) has tram and bus stops. Národní třída, Nové Město is nearest Metro station on Line B at 650 meters (7-8 minutes walk). Prague Old Town Square is about 15 minutes walk.

Charles Square-Karlovo nám. has an Albert Market for groceries and Beer & Burger U Čížků on the square is one of my favorite burger restaurants in the city, only 250 m from Radisson Blu.

The hotels has 160 rooms with 6 room categories.

  • Standard room (24 square meters)
  • Superior Room (25-29 sqm)
  • Premium Room (30-35 sqm)
  • Family Room (38 sqm)
  • Junior Suite (38-45 sqm)
  • Suites (53-70 sqm)

Yes, but 50K. My beloved Radisson Blu chain has priced me out of the market. Sure do miss those two for ones.

Given their award chart and the pricing of top hotels in Prague, this is a decent award price.

Radisson Blu Alcron was a hotel I enjoyed on my two Free Friday stays in fall 2017. I’d prefer 3 nights at Park Inn Prague for 84,000 points. This summer I will be in Prague for at least 3 nights and I am considering either Holiday Inn Congress at Vysehrad or going independent. Seen some decent options for $60 per night.
