Best Western Rewards has a free night after two stays promotion running February 4 to April 14, 2019. There is a limit of one free night per member for this offer. Stays at any Best Western brand hotel worldwide are eligible for USA, Canada and Caribbean resident members of Best Western Rewards.
The weakest aspect of this offer is the free night expires 60 days after issuance and free night redemption is limited to USA, Canada and Caribbean hotels.
Promotion Analysis
Free night after 2 stays is my favorite type of promotion deal and this offer moves to the top of my fulfillment plans for hotel travel over the next three months. Two paid nights at inexpensive hotels earn a free night at a more expensive hotel. Spending $200 for three hotel nights worth $400 is my kind of travel deal.
Elephant seal pupping season happens in January and my staycation travel thoughts this week have been driving Highway 1 from Monterey to Morro Bay in February to see elephant seals at Piedras Blancas near San Simeon and Hearst Castle.
I even have two $25 Best Western gift cards to redeem with one I received from an email offer last month expiring February 28.
Where to redeem?
A good place to start looking when it comes time to decide where to redeem a free night is the selection of high-end Best Western hotels represented in Best Western Premier, Premier Collection and Signature Collection hotels.
The Cartwright at Union Square San Francisco is a hotel I stayed at in November 2017 (my review). That will be my default hotel redemption if I don’t need a hotel stay somewhere else where I can use the free night.
