Several Star Alliance airlines have Los Angeles to Moscow priced at $398 round trip for travel from January to May 2019. An interesting feature of this low fare is the potential for long overnight layovers in a variety of cities including Toronto, Zurich and Munich.

SkyTeam has fares slightly higher in low $400s round trip for LAX to Moscow SVO for travel departures mid-January to early March.

    Thanks for the heads up. I narrowed this search to SAS and, while I didn’t find Russia for cheap, Stockholm is still in the mid-400s. You had tipped us off a couple years ago about Star Alliance Gold status by crediting our flights on SAS metal to Aegean Miles + Bonus, and it has been a great thing! I’m wondering if you know how the recent (and massive) SAS EuroBonus points-earning devaluation has/will impact crediting SAS flights to Aegean? Have you experienced anything yet or are miles still crediting 1:1 from SAS to Aegean? Thanks!
