This promotion grabbed my attention when I first read the offer, but after analyzing room rates, this offer is okay, but not nearly as good as it appears.
Get More Getaway 10K bonus points per night promotional rate is generally $30 per night more compared to the advance purchase rate for the same date and room type.

Given that this bonus points offer requires a nonrefundable booking made over the next week, the basic rate comparison is to look at the difference between this *My Offers Get More Getaway promotional rate and the price of a regular advance purchase room to determine the difference.
10% off BAR is the same as AAA rate in most cases, however, I found at least one hotel with dates when AAA flexible cancellation rate was lower than Get More Getaway 10K per night nonrefundable rate.

The 10K Get More Getaway special rate is $30 more per night to earn 10,000 IHG Rewards Club bonus points than the regular advance purchase rate.
Since IHG Rewards Club points frequently sell at the rate of $5 per 1,000 points, you can simply purchase 10,000 points for $50.
Essentially this offer is a $20 per night bonus in IHG Rewards Club points. Now that is a decent offer if you would have stayed at a Kimpton Hotel anyway, but not a spectacular offer since most of these six Kimpton hotels in Portland and Seattle are priced over $200 per night on most dates.
I ran this same analysis for three of these Kimpton Hotels on different dates including around Thanksgiving and Christmas and found similar results for every rate check comparison.

Good deal if you would have booked a nonrefundable stay in Portland or Seattle anyway, but the value of this offer is not so compelling as to risk a nonrefundable stay reservation simply to earn 10,000 IHG bonus points.
