Deals are posted across airlines for Hawaii at $247 to $314 round trip from many west coast cities to many Hawaii airports across the four main islands. The catch is you have to travel in the next four weeks for the lowest ticket prices with most low fares offered for September departures and some low fares extending into October departures.
There are deals from other airports around the country too. JFK to Honolulu is as low as $177 one way with American.
Also, unless you have elite status or some other waiver for checked bag fees, like a credit card, plan to pay $50 to $60 round trip for one checked bag.
