Sopot is Poland’s premier beach resort. Sopot Marriott to redeem a free Marriott Rewards Megabonus reward night at the former category 5 hotel was my primary motivation for spending time in Poland in June 2018. Sopot Marriott remains 25,000 points as a new category 4 since August 18, 2018.
Sheraton Sopot is located in the heart of old town for the historic spa resort city. This former SPG category 4 for 5,000 Starpoints and $75 as a Cash&Points reward in June 2018 made Sopot a real deal for a summer vacation destination using hotel reward nights in peak season for cheap stays.
Sheraton Sopot is now a Marriott Rewards category 5 hotel at 35,000 points per reward night.

Kelley enjoyed Sopot. She thinks it was her favorite destination of summer 2018. Next summer she would like to make it the centerpiece of our travels.
That has me hoping for a Marriott Rewards MegaBonus winter 2019 promotion for one free night every two stays.
