Radisson Rewards summer promotion double points July 9-Aug 31

Radisson Rewards has a summer promotion for double points (40 points/$1) on stays of 2 nights or more from July 9 to August 31 at participating Radisson Collection, Radisson Blu, Radisson, Radisson RED, Park Plaza, Park Inn by Radisson and Country Inn & Suites by Radisson hotels worldwide.

This promotion has an advantage over the last two Radisson Rewards promotions since March. Existing reservations count and there is no requirement for special rate nonrefundable advance purchase bookings.

Too bad for me this promotion was not posted last week when I made two nonrefundable reservations with Hilton brand hotels for 2 and 3 night stays. I would have earned 15,000 Radisson Rewards points on my $375 in hotel spend by shifting my stays to a Park Inn in a better location for a similar price to what I paid for 5 nights with Hilton.

I have drained my Radisson Rewards ac count balance after 6 award nights last month in Lithuania and was hoping to see a good promotion for booking hotel stays over the next month.

Hope this offer fits in with your summer travel plans.

Double points is a good promotion with Radisson Rewards where $225 in hotel spend earns 9,000 points, sufficient for a category 1 hotel reward.

More useful is 15,000 points for a category 2 hotel reward, earned with $375 in spend during the promotion through August 31.

Radisson Rewards points have about $3.50 to $4.00 value for many hotel rewards. Getting about $60 in points rebate value for $375 in hotel spend is a decent promotion return.

  1. I’ve marked my ClubCarlson/Radisson points as “use up and dont earn again”. It’s just that it seems the “cost per free room” at IHG or Choice (or even Wyndham) is always so much better, especially when they have promotions.
