$5.00 per 1,000 points is one of the best purchase rates offered by IHG Rewards Club. The only route I have seen to cheaper points is when there is a Points & Cash 20% discount rate, but those are infrequent.
The next set of IHG PointBreaks hotels will be released in the last week of July 2018 with hotels at 5,000 points, 10,000 points and 15,000 points. That means an opportunity for $30, $60 and $90 hotel nights.
