Best Western Rewards summer promotion for North America residents is a $20 Best Western Travel Card after your first stay and 2,000 bonus points for every additional stay from May 21 to Sep 3, 2018. There is a promotion limit of one $20 travel card, but no limit on 2K bonus points for additional stays during promotion. Travel card expires 120 days from issuance.
Promotion registration is required at bestwestern.com/summercombo2K.
There is no retroactive credit for stays completed prior to promotion registration.
Promotion is limited to residents of North America and applies to Best Western hotel stays worldwide.
Warning: Personally I don’t care for the Best Western travel cards. The validity is only a short four months from issuance.
There are issues I ran into in 2017 when I tried to redeem my $20 Best Western Travel Card credit last year in Lithuania. You must present your travel card number at check-in. This is particularly important at international hotels where there is a chance the front desk agent will have no idea how to process the travel card credit. Plus, the international hotel may want to confirm with the USA Phoenix office the validity of your Travel Card number before accepting the credit.
2,000 bonus points are a good hotel stay value. I have stayed at Best Western hotels for 8,000 points per night in the past year in places like Best Western So’Co in Nice, France. I have my eye on one particular historic property in Europe I’d like to get to sometime this next year where 12,000 points buys a night in a hotel suite.
