SAS Scandinavian Airlines has a sale this week for USA airports to Scandinavian cities from $497 to $546 from San Francisco and Los Angeles to Copenhagen CPH, Oslo OSL and Stockholm ARN. These prices are for travel departures from August 20, 2018. Other cities are also discounted for ticket purchases through April 15.
I have watched SAS fares closely over the past year for the ability to earn 100% flight miles on discount economy SAS fares as Aegean Miles+Bonus Tier Points for cheap Star Alliance elite. There are not many SAS sales from California to Europe, especially from San Francisco. This is one of the best SAS fare sales in months.
SAS flies LAX to Stockholm nonstop and SFO to Copenhagen nonstop. Oddly enough, SFO to Stockholm via CPH and LAX to Copenhagen CPH via Stockholm are lower priced tickets than the nonstop destinations.
