There are low fare tickets today from $536 to $574 with all three alliances for LAX, SFO and SJC to London for people who like to fly long-haul nonstop. These low fares are for travel departures in May then again from September. Even lower ticket prices are available for connecting flights, but this post is focused on the nonstop flights with United, British Airways and Virgin Atlantic.
Lowest ticket prices are British Airways at $536 round trip when purchased through AARP discount link. United Airlines is $547 round trip for nonstop flights and even lower for Swiss or Air Canada flights. Virgin Atlantic prices around $560 round trip.
