Starwood Hotel stays earn 250 bonus points per night, starting with your 3rd night during the promotion period for stays April 16 – July 20, 2018. Members may earn a maximum 12,000 bonus points during the promotion if you were to stay 50 nights.

Members will receive points for eligible nights retroactively as long as registration completed by June 30. Free nights, award nights and Cash & Points nights do not earn bonus points.
Other SPG promotion offers may be earned simultaneously during the promotion period.
Participating Hotels – Most hotels worldwide appear to participate, however, I see several Design Hotels are not on the list of participating hotels.
Who benefits most:
This promotion is a small bonus for extended stay travelers. Stay based promotions favor the traveler with multiple stays. This promotion earns the same amount of bonus points for someone staying put in one hotel for several nights compared to someone with several one night stays.
Not exactly a windfall of points with only 1,000 bonus points if you have only one 6-night stay during the promotion, but better than a stay based promotion for a traveler with only one long stay during the period.
