July fare San Jose to Paris $573 SkyTeam

One deal today is San Jose SJC to Paris CDG from $573 round trip for travel in July 2018 with Delta and SkyTeam airlines. These fares show up on Google Flights, but many dates do not provide direct links to a booking site. This is where Momondo.com is useful for finding the low fare prices for search dates found through Google Flights, but not bookable through Google Flights.

Delta Airlines San Jose SJC – Atlanta ATL – New York JFK – Paris Orly ORY – New York JFK – San Jose SJC

$573.21 round trip  Sat July 7 – Sun Jul 22

SJC-ORY $574 DL Jul7-22

SJC-ORY $574 DL-2 Jul7-22

This itinerary forces an overnight in JFK, which could be an undesirable expense. I included this itinerary simply to show some low fare dates can be ticketed directly through Delta Airlines.

Delta Airlines  LAX – JFK – Paris ORY – JFK – LAX

$572.91 round trip  Sun July 1 – Tue July 10

SJC-ORY $574 DL Jul1-10

SJC-ORY $573 DL-2 Jul1-10

Again, this Delta itinerary is problematic with 12 hour layover in JFK outbound and overnight layover in New York on flight back from Paris.

Another factor to consider is Delta Basic Economy charges $45 each way to upgrade to Economy and add first checked bag free and self-selected seat assignment at time of booking.

Momondo.com is worth a check for alternative itineraries with better routing and layover times. The ticket below is a one stop itinerary with short transit times.

Air France San Jose SJC – LAX – Paris CDG – Salt Lake City SLC – SJC

$580.94 round trip  Sun July 1 – Tue July 10

SJC-CDG $580 DL-ota Jul1-10

SJC-CDG $581 AF-2 Jul1-10

March looks like a good month to buy low cost July departure summer travel deals. Sales that have appeared this week for California to Europe July travel mirrors March 2017 when many of the best summer fare deals appeared last year.
