Hilton’s Long Weekender rate is a 50% off Sunday Best Available Rate (BAR) deal when booking 2 to 4 night stays. Several hotels where I checked weekend rates in Europe revealed 50% off Sunday made this rate the lowest I found for dates over Feb 17-19 and Feb 16-19.
This is an offer available for hotel stays in USA, Canada, Caribbean, Mexico, Central and South America, Europe, Africa and Middle East. There are more restrictive policies for minimum stays in the Americas.
Better rate deals are available in Europe, Middle East and Africa with 2-night stays potentially eligible. Most hotels showed 50% off Sunday night rates for 3-night weekend stays.
In my searches of European hotels there were some not offering 50% off Sunday rates for 2-night stays.
Hilton 50% Off Sunday minimum stay terms
In the Americas:
- offer requires Thursday, Friday or Saturday arrival.
- Thursday arrivals require a minimum stay of four (4) nights and a maximum stay of five (5) nights.
- Friday arrivals require a minimum stay of three (3) nights and a maximum of four (4) nights.
- Saturday arrivals require a three (3) night length of stay.
In Europe, the Middle East and Africa:
- offer requires a minimum stay two (2) nights, and must include Sunday night (or Saturday night in certain regions).

Finding Hilton 50% off Sunday low rate tip:
This offer tends to work better for city and business oriented hotels where occupancy is typically lower on Friday and Saturday than weekdays. Resorts, vacation destinations and popular weekend night spots tend to have higher weekend rates. You might find even lower rates than the 50% off Sunday deal at these more popular weekend hotels by staying weekday nights.
DoubleTree London Chelsea
I got an expensive thrill on Christmas Day 2017 when we passed by DoubleTree London Chelsea hotel on our taxi ride to Days Inn Waterloo. I liked the location of the DoubleTree London Chelsea. My taxi bill to DoubleTree might have only been £10 from Victoria Coach Station instead of £18 to cross the Thames during inflated Christmas Day pricing.
