Hyatt Place Denver/Westminster 4K+$35 per night (dead)

Post Update: Jan 8 – 9:30am – Bookings are pulling 4,000 points per night from account, so basically only a $20 discount on normal 4,000 points + $55 rate.

Post Update: Jan 10 – 7:00am – Hyatt Place Denver/Westminster does not appear to be bookable at all for any dates when I checked today. There are still some hotels available at reduced cash rate using Points + Cash, such as Park Hyatt Zanzibar 10K + $80. Check ExtremeHotelDeals.com link in next paragraph for list of hotels.

News of World of Hyatt Points + Cash discount rates at around 20 hotels worldwide went through BoardingArea blogs yesterday. Most of the properties reported are suburban hotels and not too many particularly interesting places with discounts of about $30 to $50 on the cash portion. Some of the better properties in Chicago and D.C. only show standard reward availability now. A list of properties is found on ExtremeHotelDeals.com.

When I looked at Hyatt Place Denver/Westminster this morning, a new hotel opening April 15, 2018, I found an even better Points + Cash deal than reported in posts I saw.

This rate comes up when you do a search on the regular Hyatt.com website and not through the hotel property website link in the previous paragraph.

Hyatt Place Denver/Westminster

Points + Cash Rate:        0 Points + $35 per night.

Hyatt Place Westminter P-C $35

That is quite the discount on a hotel with room rates around $135 per night.

Hyatt Place Westminster $135

Makes for a cheap week in Colorado.

Hyatt Place Denver/Westminster

    Looks dead… Now 4000 points + $35 per night

  • Ric Garrido January 8, 2018

    @David – I just pulled up 0 points + $79.35 for Aug 3-5. Not dead yet.

I used the Hyatt.com website link I posted in this article to check rate again.

Have you actually checked your points balance? I booked a 0 + $35 room, it confirmed just like yours, and then my account shows that 4000 points were deducted for a Cat2.

Ah yes, the sound of silence when Ric has been called out for either failing to do his research or outright posting a clickbait title. Funny how you like to act all high and mighty when other bloggers do this, but when you’re exposed…. silence.

  • Ric Garrido January 10, 2018

@Joe – my failure to research sufficiently. I checked one hotel in one place where I thought I would be, booked a room, and after your comment amended this piece when I saw 4,000 points were removed for the booking.

    As for High and Mighty…wtf?

California has legal weed now. High?… maybe.

I missed the update at the top.

    Fair enough.
