Choice Hotels acquisition of WoodSpring Hotels for $231m will see a massive expansion of extended stay hotels for Choice Privileges members. The addition of 240 WoodSpring Suites and Value Place hotels in 35 states will more than double the current combined size of MainStay Suites and Suburban Extended Stay with more than 350 extended stay hotels across the USA.
This deal is expected to close in Q1 2018.
