A check of my IHG Rewards Club Accelerate offer revealed two new bonus points tasks for 3,000 points.
1. Stay 2 nights in October for 3,000 bonus points.
2. Stay once in November for 3,000 bonus points.
These are new bonus points opportunities and did not change my main task board for completion of three of four tasks to earn 30,000 bonus points.

My Accelerate Fall 2017 Progress
I have completed one task of four tasks so far with a Points and Cash reward stay. I stayed at InterContinental Warsaw for 30,000 points + $30.

The IHG Rewards Club Points and Cash stay earned 2,400 bonus points for the completed Accelerate task. I also received 600 bonus points as a Platinum elite amenity at check-in.
IHG Rewards Club MasterCard 10% Rebate Points
Yesterday, I received my IHG Rewards Club MasterCard 10% rebate for 3,500 points back in my account on the 35,000 points reward night at InterContinental Warsaw.
The 3,500 points IHG MasterCard rebate amount includes 10% rebate on 5,000 points I purchased for $30 when booking InterContinental Warsaw for 30,000 points + 5,000 points.
Final tabulation is I paid $30 and 23,500 points for my one night at InterContinental Warsaw when room rates were $175.
My next IHG hotel stay in 2017 paid with my IHG MasterCard completes two more tasks to earn 27,600 bonus points with my Accelerate offer. I will have earned 30,000 total bonus points.
I could earn an additional 10,000 bonus points by staying 5 nights before the promotion ends, but I only have 3 paid nights planned for December. I do not currently anticipate needing two more IHG hotel nights during the promotion.
IHG Rewards Club Points and Cash 25% discount flash sale (TARGETED OFFER).
Several blogs posted yesterday about an IHG Rewards Club Points and Cash Flash Sale for 25% off the cash portion on reservations booked between Oct 24 –Oct 26, 2017 for stays completed by December 31.
None of the blogs I saw showed a screenshot with a reduced cash portion. I checked Points and Cash rates throughout the day and never saw a cash component discount for any hotels.
FlyerTalk now has a thread on this IHG Points and Cash promotion. The offer appears to be a targeted promotion offer. Many IHG members are not finding any Points and Cash discount rates on the cash portion.
