IHG One Rewards PointBreaks 5,000 points reward nights

The new list of IHG® Rewards Club Point Breaks will post around 12 noon ET Friday, April 21, 2017. About 100 hotels will be available for booking beginning Monday, April 24 for hotel stays April 24 – July 31, 2017.

A sample of 100 properties that will be featured:

· HUALUXE Nanchang High-Tech Zone

· Holiday Inn Express Kuala Lumpur City Centre

· Holiday Inn Express Baruna Bali

· Holiday Inn Express Brisbane Central

· Candlewood Suites Queretaro Juriquilla

· Crowne Plaza Vilnius

· Holiday Inn Budapest – Budäors

· Staybridge Suites® St. Louis – Westport

Note – Until 12 p.m. on Friday, April 21, link above will display Q1 2017 Point Breaks information.

On a personal note, looks like I will be booking Crowne Plaza Vilnius, Lithuania for a stay this summer. Can’t wait to see what else is on offer in Europe.

There are still IHG Rewards Club points for sale at Daily Getaways for less than $6 per 1,000 points, making these hotels $30 reward nights.

    I must be doing something wrong, whenever I check random properties and dates I always see a full points value showing, I think I may have called once and the agent said no rooms at 5000 points. Maybe just a coincidence with the dates and places I “tested” to see if they were available.

    @Jay Cee – Point Breaks are not available for booking until Monday.

    I did a similar thing on the last list when I quickly walked across Prague on a Friday evening to be at my hotel for the release of the Point Breaks list. I spent 30 minutes trying to book a hotel, before someone pointed out to me on Twitter that bookings were not available until Monday.

    I was mad at myself for not reading my email more closely when I wanted to be in the part of Prague I had hurried away from to be at my hotel for the Point Breaks list.
