In my opinion, Copenhagen is the most laid back city for a tourist of the Scandinavian capitals. Copenhagen also has a good transportation network for moving around Europe by plane, train, bus or ferry. Only one major aiport CPH also make Copenhagen easier to navigate airlines since they all fly to the same airport, unlike Oslo TRF and OSL and Stockholm ARN, BMA, NYO multiple airports spread out over many miles on different sides of these capital cities. The cost of a bus or train to get to the city and change airports in these places can be more than the cost of the airline ticket.
I have used Copenhagen several times as an arrival point in Europe, then a day or two later fly somewhere else on a low fare to another country, usually $50 or less one-way to places like London, Krakow, Prague.
