Kimpton Seafire Resort & Spa is now open on Seven Mile Beach, Grand Cayman. This marks Kimpton Hotels first international property. The 266 room resort is the first new hotel on Grand Cayman in a decade. The name Seafire is representative of sunset views from Seven Mile Beach. Most rooms are described as having ocean views. There are two ocean view pools and Camp Seafire for children at the property. There are also 62 condominiums scheduled to open in 2017.
The property is located about one mile north of Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman.
Lowest room rates are available between now and December 19 starting at $339, before rising to $599-$679 for winter season.
Grand Opening 4th night free special offer available for bookings by December 30 drops the nightly base rate to $269.25, although outrageously high taxes and facilities fees raise the nightly rate to $376 all-in.
Kimpton is also developing international hotel properties in Amsterdam (early 2017 opening of former Crowne Plaza) and Paris (2020).
